About TVAS
The Trent Valley Aviation Society was formed in the 1980s to provide aviation enthusiasts in the Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire area with access to a group of like-minded individuals. Originally the society organised minibus trips to most airshows in the UK, but more recently has focused on regular member meetings
and on occasional days out. We are a friendly group of aviation enthusiasts who welcome anyone, regardless of their aviation
interests - our group is made up of enthusiasts, aircraft spotters, professionals who work in the industry, pilots, former
service personnel and those who just have a passion for things that fly.
We hold informal meetings once a month in Diseworth Village Hall, which is conveniently located near to East Midlands Airport. We also usually organise a B-B-Q for members in the Aeropark during the summer months and we offer occasional trips to venues of aviation interest such as airports, airshows, air bases and factories.
Once every three months, we send out a newsletter
(typically of 4-6 pages) which keeps everyone informed about society events and also contains other items of general
interest - articles from members, Nottingham East Midlands airport schedules, etc.
Trent Valley Aviation Society is non profit-making, but we levy a small membership fee to cover the cost of running the
society - room hire, stationery, copying, postage, web-hosting etc.
Does it sound as though the Trent Valley Aviation Society might be of interest to you? Good. Please browse around our website
