June 14th and 15th saw a gathering of cockpit enthusiasts at the Newark Air Museum in Nottinghamshire, this annual event
is well patronised by the cockpit collector and enthusiast alike and it always has a wide variety of cockpits from many era's on display.
Ken Ellis, well known author of the "Wrecks and Relics" bi-annual aviation fossil hunter bible and Editor of Flypast magazine was on hand to present the prizes for the best 3 cockpits on display
Ken took time out to meet Brian Kiddy, Daryl Barber and Adam Barber from TVAS, what a great guy he comes accross as a born enthusiast who hasnt lost his passion for the hobby, during the presentation
Ceremony Ken proved that he has a good sense of humour but in his own words "being from Liverpool you need one". Just to prevent any confuson, "Wrecks and Relics" is not a guide to the TVAS Committee!
Below are some pictures of both the cockpits on display as well as several Museum Exhibits. Daryl Barber - TVAS Webmaster
